A nice sunny day in the hills. BEFS, Steve and I headed off to do the MBR Killer Loop from pendam.

Some others were going to come but as they had a few newbies with them they decided to do the Summit Trail instead.

We had a good ride, BEFS impressed himself with ab ig drop on the first real descent, but also took it a bit easier on trails he'd never ridden before after that as well. We stopped on the MX trails near Angler's Retreat for lunch and then carried on in the sunshine with the odd deep river crossing to keep us cool.

Once back at the cars we headed off around the Pendam trail as well. the plan was to have tea and cakes at the visiitor centre but when we got there it was heaving. All day in the saddle without seeing another soul and then all of a sudden hundreds of people at the visitor centre!

A good day out.
